It's been a few days since I was last here hasn't it!! Well today seems appropriate to come back.

I watched the sun come up this morning and remembered...

Six years ago today the world changed forever. We learned that no one and nowhere is safe from the touch of evil people and evil deeds. So on this day of remembrance and mourning let us not hang our heads in sorrow and pain. Let us hold our heads high and remember the good things about the people who lost their lives in those needless, senseless acts of aggression. Remember the love they gave and that we gave them. Let us celebrate their lives with song and laughter. So many of us were and are affected by that singular day. We continue to see it in our minds eye. It has imprinted itself in our spirit. We MUST never forget the lessons we learned that day and continue to learn but we HAVE to move forward. We have to learn to live above the fear and in doing so maybe we can better appreciate the world around us.

My prayers are with ALL who have and our sacrificing to make our little world a better place.

May God have mercy on our souls...
