The idea of putting as little as needed into what we do is counterproductive to a Centered Philosophy. Only by embracing our ideas with clear thinking and preconceived foresight are we able to function and focus completely on our given task.
Taking emotional responses out of our way removes a dam to critical thinking and allows us to function at a much higher level. Our goal as Buddhists and humans is to improve ourselves inside. Inner improvement is reflected over time by our actions more then our words.
