The Cold War is over. Yet Prime Minister Putin has annexed the Crimea and sent Russian Spec War into the Ukraine. To do what? Observe the situation? Eastern Ukraine wants independence to join mother Russia. Western Ukraine wants to stay sovereign and cultivate ties with the EU and the Western world. As this drama unfolds the economic/ political quagmire becomes deeper and more convoluted with every tick of the clock.
I'ts right that a people should decide their own course as a country but blood and the outside world are dictating events. Neither Eastern nor Western Ukraine is in control of their own Fate. Russian Spec War “might” be involved on one side, but what about the other side?
How deep is the Western world involved? According to reports as many as 300-400 Blackwater operatives are on the ground in the Ukraine as I write this.
Is this Blackwater?
Has the Human Race Devolved even as Evolution sweeps us along?
We can travel to the ocean depths.
We can reach interstellar space.
We can clone more then anybody wants to admit.
We're unwilling and unable to stop spilling blood.
In 3014 will archaeologists discover our secrets and shudder in horror?
